One of the greatest things about becoming a mom is that you immediately become part of a circle of moms who love to trade tips and tricks for raising kids.

So, I’m going to add to the conversation and occasionally tell you about a few of my favorite things that have made mommyhood easier, my life better, or just bring me a smile.

Nothing spells disaster for a stay-at-home mom more than a day with nothing on the calendar. My daughter gets bored, I get bored and by noon we are pretty much sick of each other.

So, that’s why I absolutely love Websites like gocitykids.com. This comprehensive site has information on lots of major cities, including Salt Lake City. It has directories of things to do and see in the city, as well as resources for parents.

But the reason I check the Website all the time is because it has a great calendar of activities and events in the area. I use it every week to plan a couple of fun outings for Nicole ranging from book clubs at Barnes & Noble to the petting zoo at Gardner Village.
